Tracking Club

The Tracking Club was founded by Jim Dobkowski in 1995 as an after-school program for teens. For over 17 years we have been making fire without matches, hiking mountains, exploring caves, rafting down rivers and going on yearly campouts in the Adirondacks. If you are interested in survival skills or nature then this is the place for you.

Tracking Club Meets once a week (except during school vacations)
3:30pm-6pm, Thursdays
in Bristol at the Bristol Hub( we then head off to other places of interest like Waybridge Cavern)

We go on two campouts in the year. One winter campout and another summer one in the Adirondacks.

Campout info

Winter camp out will be held at the Watershed in Bristol. During this trip we will test our survival skills
by making a snow shelter and camp, collecting water and making fire off the land.

Spring camp out is a 3 day adventure into the Adirondacks near Mt.Dix. This trip is more about adventure then survival. We will hike, tent out, become accustomed to the land and play massive game of capture the flag into the night.
